Dear students
We are glad to inform you that TES intends to place its resources and its teacher support in your service so that you may enjoy extracurricular activities, participate in science fairs within the field of science, technology, and the environment,, and satisfy your curiosity and interests, through TES Science and Environment Club.
Purpose of the club
- To engage the interest of our students in science.
- To enhance students’ passion for protection of nature in
- To introduce students to the scientific method.
- To encourage students to understand science, and possibly choose science and technology in their future careers.
- To transfer the scientific, and logical thinking to our society.
- To encourage problem solving skills and creativity.
- To engender a feeling of passion, love and belonging to our beautiful country.
Application for Membership
Membership in TES Science and Environment Club entitles a student to participate in science fairs, field trips, involvement in preparing for lectures, or presentations by guest speakers, visiting natural reserves for the purpose of discovery, and for sharing in natural reserve activities like collecting seeds and planting seedlings, and trees, in addition to the active design of projects that foster environmental awareness in the community of Tripoli and North Lebanon.
Please fill in the application on the second page and return it before the deadline of Monday, Oct 18, 2010 so your membership is confirmed as soon as possible.
